Aichen "Grace" Guo

About

Aichen is a self-driven, passionate user experience designer and researcher who believes in human-centered design. With a background in Economics and Art, Aichen aims to integrate her quantitative techniques from economics with the creative skills from art to bring meaningful designs into life. Design to her is not only a creative problem-solving tool but also rigorous research and analytical process.

Aichen is also a multi-media artist who seeks to create works for social purposes. The media of her works range from traditional materials — graphite drawings, oil paintings, ceramics — to modern technologies — graphic design, physical computation, and virtual reality. The subjects of her works include women in Chinese culture, health, animal welfare, sustainability, and societal concerns.

Facing the art of life, she happily anticipates to refining an artwork that can never be completed.
